Anne Lewis Quartet

Please come and enjoy an evening of  jazz standards, some wonderful Broadway melodies and a few  blues tunes.    I will be performing with Art Lawless on piano, Martin Newman on double bass and Michel Delage on drums.   Art Lawless is a well-known jazz pianist on the Ottawa scene.  He led the house trio at the NAC for several years and worked with bands supporting many visiting performers including Dinah Shore, Della Reese, Peter Appleyard and the London Palladium shows.  Martin Newman is a versatile, creative bassist, and arranger with a keen ability to play more than the notes on the page.  Passionate and versatile Michel Delage who is known for his high energy and adventurous drumming completes the quartet.
